Graphic Designer & Illustrator Juan Casini of Buenos Aires, Argentina creates fun and unique cartoon style illustrations. Each illustration he creates is vibrant in beautiful colors. The illustrations he created below are from an app/game project he worked on called, “Skymath.” What is Skymath? “Skymath is an educational app for the iPad developed by Circumventure Learning USA. A self-directed digital learning tool based on math game exercises while the kids travel across magical floating islands.”-description from juancasini.com

Artist of the Month October 2014
Lisa Goesling creates beautiful works of art on scratchboard. Lisa has a way of taking the scratchboard and creating art that appears very textured & intricate in design. Scratchboards are boards covered in clay & india ink. She scratches away at the ink on the surface of the scratchboard with a scratchboard tool similar to an x-acto knife. I especially love the art pieces that she creates in color by incorporating other medium such as colored inks & paints. Some of her scratchboard art is in color and some is in black& white. She often depicts flowers, and plants as her subject in each artwork.
