The illustrations he created below are from an app/game project he worked on called, “Skymath.” What is Skymath? “Skymath is an educational app for the iPad developed by Circumventure Learning USA. A self-directed digital learning tool based on math game exercises while the kids travel across magical floating islands.”-description from juancasini.com

Artist of the Month October 2014

Lisa Goesling creates beautiful works of art on scratchboard. Lisa has a way of taking the scratchboard and creating art that appears very textured & intricate in design.  Scratchboards are boards covered in clay & india ink. She scratches away at the ink on the surface of the scratchboard with a scratchboard tool similar to an x-acto knife. I especially love the art pieces that she creates in color by incorporating other medium such as colored inks & paints. Some of her scratchboard art is in color and some is in black& white. She often depicts flowers, and plants as her subject in each artwork.
