Animation Of The Month August 2014

“Glued” is a creative animated short film created by animation students at Bezalel Academy of the Arts.
“Glued -” A short film about a mother trying to deal with her video game addicted son.”-summary by Glued on Vimeo.com
It’s interesting to watch this short and discover references to many popular games. If you’re a gamer be on the look out and see if you can catch all the game references. I thought it was funny and a good quality animation. It really makes you think about the youth today and the technology that surrounds them. It’s good to take time to get unglued from technology by putting down the video game, walking away from the computer and explore the world beyond a screen. Check out “Glued” on YouTube and Vimeo

Innovative 3D Art

Innovative, Interactive, 3Dimensional art!
There are a total of Eighty-three oil paintings that were on show for about a month at the Magic Art Special Exhibition in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou.
Organizers said the paintings are basically two dimensional. They’ve been painted creatively in a special 3D style, with some parts going out of frame and others with painted shadows to create the effect of an extra dimension. Twenty South Korean artists have spent more than four months working on these special paintings.-(info from: NTDTV on YouTube.com)
